Hi there! I’m Salvatore Carotenuto, born in 1974 in Salerno, Italy, and for the past 25 years, I’ve been happily living in Friuli Venezia Giulia, in the charming border town of Gorizia.
My love for photography started early—at 15, while others were spending their money on snacks and music, I spent mine on a camera. That’s when it all began. Since then, I’ve been taking photos of just about anything and anyone willing to stand in front of my lens (whether or not I promised a good shot!).
I call myself an amateur photographer, but I bring the enthusiasm, care, and dedication of a pro (and almost the gear too!). I’m especially passionate about portrait and glamour photography, because every face tells a story—and often hides a good laugh too.
Oh, and did I mention? I shoot for free—just for the love of it. If you’re up for a fun photo session or simply want to try something new in front of the camera, you can reach out to me through the contact form on this page. I’d love to hear from you!
This site is my little digital corner, where I share my photos, experiments, and a bit of who I am. Thanks for stopping by—I hope my work makes you feel something, smile a little, or maybe even pick up a camera yourself.
